Seychelles eVisa Document Preparation Checklist
The Seychelles ETA application requires applicants to submit a few documents along with the application form. Having detailed information on each requirement before beginning the application process ensures a smooth application process.
Common Requirements for All Seychelles ETA Types
The following documents must be submitted by all applicants, irrespective of the Seychelles ETA type they are applying for:
Passport Bio Page Scan
- Submit a clear scanned copy of the passport’s bio page.
- The passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of arrival in Seychelles.
Applicant Digital Photograph
- The photograph must have been taken within the last 6 months.
- It must accurately reflect the applicant's current appearance.
Flight Ticket/Cruise Reservation Confirmation
Submit documents showing your planned entry into and exit from the destination country.
For Air Travel
Submit confirmed flight tickets showing your arrival and departure journeys.
For Sea Travel
Submit cruise booking confirmation showing entry and exit from the Seychelles.
Note: If your itinerary combines air and sea travel, provide the relevant flight tickets and cruise reservation confirmations for both entry and exit.
Common Documents Requirement (Grouped by ETA Types)
Seychelles Tourist, Friends & Family, Honeymoon, Getting Married, Business, Transit, Crew (Plane or Ship), and Personal Helper ETA
Applicants applying for Seychelles tourist, friends & family, honeymoon, getting married, business, transit, and personal helper ETAs are also required to submit ONE of the following documents in addition to the common documents above:
Option 1: Hotel Booking
Provide booking confirmation(s) for each hotel, guesthouse, or other accommodation where you will stay in Seychelles.
Option 2: Host ID
If you are staying with a host in Seychelles, submit their national ID.
Seychelles Work (Long-Term) GOP and Work (Short-Term) GOP ETA
Applicants applying for a Seychelles work (long-term) GOP and a work (short-term) GOP ETA are also required to submit the following documents in addition to the common documents above:
GOP (Gainful Occupation Permit)
Submit a valid Gainful Occupation Permit (GOP) or an employer's letter confirming employment in Seychelles.
Additional Document Required for Seychelles Personal Helper ETA
Seychelles personal helper ETA applicants are also required to submit the following:
Letter from the Employer
Provide a signed letter from your employer confirming your employment and intended work as a personal helper in Seychelles.
Additional Document Required for Seychelles Seaman (Fishing Vessels) ETA
Submit any ONE of the following documents
Letter From Employer (If Employed)
Submit a letter from the employer confirming the applicant's employment.
Justification Letter (If Self-Employed)
If self-employed, submit a signed justification letter explaining your fishing activity in Seychelles.
Additional Document Required for Seychelles Crew ETA (Plane or Ship)
Crew manifest (GENDEC)
Provide the official GENDEC issued for the aircraft or ship carrying the crew member.
